Meredith Prohaska was happy, and healthy 12 yr old Wisconsin pre-teen who loved bsketball. Meredith Prohaska died 4 hours after receiving an injection of the Gardasil HPV vaccine. Meredith Prohaska's death appears to have been completely avoidable, if her pediatrician had been less greedy and read the warning on the Gardasil vaccine package insert. The CDC says that caregivers need to be informed of possible adverse vaccine effects, and that the administration of the Gardasil HPV vaccine may be fatal for a person who was allergic to dust or mold, which her pediatrician knew she had. You could tell MERCK was at fault by the number of Pharma-trolls that appeared on blog sites. This is a case of the pediatrician burying his mistake, and the medical examiner falsely claiming that the histamine released by eosinophils during an acute allergic reaction was really from an overdose of Benadryl. Death typically occurred within two weeks of receiving the first or second Gardasil HPV vaccine injection.

We observed that children with a (family) history of asthma, pneumonia, or similar pulmonary condition appear to be at acute risk of sudden death where asthma or an exists, an acute release of histamine from eosinophils and mast cells may cause death within hours following following any recombinant vaccine injection such as HebB, MMR, and the Gardasil HPV vaccine. These deaths appear to be related to asthma or an existing or latent (pulmonary) infection, and were documented in both girls and boys, including Michael Fisher. The parents of deceased 15 yr old Michael Fisher with mild asthma reported that he slept approximately 12 to 15 hours after his Gardasil vaccination.   

In rare cases, death has occurred in some, but not all children who reported tiredness (fatigue) immediately following the Gardasil HPV vaccine injection. In the small number of deaths we studied first-hand, we have been unable to confirm the anecdotal deaths of teenage girls who lost consciousness and were killed while driving home after they received the Gardasil HPV vaccination.

In the case of Michael Fisher, slight to moderate exertion appears to result in a life-threatening pulmonary cytokine storm in lung and airway tissue, which appears to be exacerbated by a Gardasil-enhanced hypersensitivity of histamine-producing mast cells and eosinophils. This may produce a foam-like liquid that coats the lungs and airway, preventing oxygen exchange. Vaccine-induced hypersensitivity and inflammation of immune cells in the epithelial lining of lung and airway tissue containing mast-cells may be compounded by a sepsis-like vaccine reaction which may signal an additional release of histamine from mast cells and eosinophils throughout the body. Elevated histamine may acutely dilate blood vessels and lower blood pressure in the host, who may then feel dizzy or "faint" upon standing or even sitting up (Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome). The children who acquire Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS) appear more susceptible to sudden death, especially if blood volume declines and they attempt to take a hot shower or bath, resulting in sudden dilation of blood vessels in extremities and possibly life-threatening hypotension and cardiopulmonary events.

UPDATE - October 8, 2014:  The most surprising revelation was that the majority of families in a brief poll revealed that they had Native American (American Indian) ancestors.

Four Year Analysis of Adverse Reactions to the Gardasil HPV Vaccine

INTRODUCTION

1) BASIC FUNDAMENTALS OF IMMUNIZATION are being DANGEROUSLY IGNORED

It is well documented that vaccines that use recombinant and synthetic antigens require much stronger adjuvants than whole cell or live cell antigens of the past.  Aluminum adjuvants provide strong immune response stimulation, but have the potential to cause severe local and systemic side-effects. Our purpose here is to observe, document, and categorize the side effects of the Gardasil HPV vaccine and its adjuvant, and provide a plausible explanation of why some people suffer vaccine reactions, including Autism, while others do not.

In the mid 1920s, Ramon et al. noted that horses that developed an abscess at the inoculation site of a diphtheria (toxoid) vaccination, generated higher specific antibody titres. They subsequently found that an abscess generated by the injection of unrelated substances along with the diphtheria toxoid, increased the immune response against the toxoid.

The adjuvant activity of aluminum compounds was demonstrated by Glenny et al. in 1926 with diphtheria toxoid absorbed to alum."  - Immunology and Cell Biology (2004) 82, 488–496; doi:10.1111/j.0818-9641.2004.01272.x

The basic fact that the presence of a pathogen can increase an immune response was discovered by Ramon et al, 1925-26, but it appears to be dangerously overlooked by profit-motivated pediatricians in the 21st Century.  These pediatricians are administering multiple (concomitant) vaccines, some with viruses, which Ramon et al found to cause an increased immune response. 

Clinical trials, such as MERCK's "MOTHER-DAUGHTER INITIATIVE" state that the administration of any other vaccine with the Gardasil HPV vaccine is grounds to EXCLUDE an individual from the Clinical Trial.  In fact, they EXCLUDE anyone who has received a vaccine in the past 30 days.  Merck is well aware that other vaccines with a dead or live virus or bacteria toxoid can enhance the effects of the Gardasil or any other vaccine. Anyone with ANY type of allergy, or who has a compromised immune system, is also EXCLUDED from this Clinical Trial, yet these same people are told by Doctors in the United States that it is perfectly safe for them to receive the same vaccine, and that it has no serious side affects. Every person in our 4+ year study was told this.

2) MEDICAL PROFITS vs. LIFE THREATENING CONDITIONS

We observed the same increased immune response that Ramon et al described in 1925, in virtually all the children and adults we studied (TH2 Dominant).  We discovered that dormant pathogens also appear to enhance the response of aluminum adjuvant vaccines.  We also documented or suspected (multiple) polymorphisms and genetic mutations in these subjects, plus we also noted that a significant number of these children and adults were vaccinated while various stages of a serious infection was present, including pneumonia.  We also discovered that something as common as eczema appeared to be a high risk factor.

The following is from a four+ year study of more than one hundred people who suffered adverse effects from the Gardasil or Cervarix HPV vaccines. All interviews were conducted by direct telephone and/or in-person. 

3) WHAT THESE PATIENTS ARE DEMANDING

The parents and caregivers, and the adults in this study desire share the same goal:  They need knowledgeable medical doctors and additional research to make them well again.

DISCUSSION

We identified many variables that make vaccination appear like a roulette wheel, especially in people of Irish, Scotch, English, Swedish, Norwegian, or other Northern or Western European Ancestry, with or without Cherokee Nation  who carry multiple genetic mutations which include the Human Leukocyte Antigen DR15 (HLA-DR15) gene mutation.  This mix of ancestry has also been documented to be associated with the Sickle Cell trait - DOI: 10.1177/000992288702601207.  We noted that facts about vaccines are being withheld from the public, many of which could save lives. We further noted that facts concerning vaccine safety are being dangerously replaced by fraudulent statements for the purpose of defrauding the public and the U. S. Government out of private and taxpayer dollars.  We identified Dr. Paul Offit as a prime example of public deception concerning the safety of vaccines. His statement that 10,000 vaccines (0.5ml per dose) could safely be given to an infant requires that 1.3 U. S. GALLONS (about 5 liters) of fluid be infused into an infant, which would immediately kill the child. Offit's "scientific reference" for his "multiple vaccines are safe" statement is Professor Melvin Cohn, a Theoretical Immunologist, whose ramblings are based on a hypothetically perfect immune system, in a hypothetically perfect body, in a hypothetically perfect environment, receiving hypothetically perfect nutrition, and getting a hypothetically perfect amount of sleep. The sinking of the TITANIC is a good example of Dr. Paul Offit's logic: everything works fine until it meets a Real World iceberg, and two of the big icebergs in Real World medicine are genetic mutations and environmental factors, which can cause the immune system to react unpredicatably.

1) We observed that when a vaccine was given to a child with a dormant or even slightly active infection, the immune system's response to the vaccine was much greater than average. As an example, many children with a history of mononucleosis developed life-threatening reactions.

In the case of a brother and sister who acquired the Gram-Negative Salmonella bacteria from a restaurant weeks before being vaccinated, they both developed seizures almost 3 months to the day after receiving the Gardasil HPV vaccine.  This appears to be a textbook case of the bacteria releasing a Lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-like chemical that appeared to greatly have overstimulated the activity of the immune system when they were vaccinated. The same is true for many pathogens associated with Lyme Disease and it's co-infections.

A vaccine can over-stimulate the immune system in the presence of a Gram-Negative bacterial infection. Bacteria can produce a Lipopolysaccharide(LPS)-like substance that alerts TLR4.  However, some bacterial LPS produced by gram-negative pathogens, especially vector-borne pathogens associated with the Lyme disease family, generate a mutant Lipopolysaccharide that poorly stimulates Toll-Like Receptor 4 (TLR4), which allows these pathogens to "hide" from the immune system (http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/23745121).  [omit in final version-- In-house use only: This fact appears to be withheld by MERCK and other vaccine manufacturers.  We have observed in this study that even dormant pathogens may become virulent as the result of such conditions, and we have hypothesized and directly documented that the antibodies produced may  "hunt down" both SELF proteins (hair keratin, heat shock protein, etc.) and foreign proteins and pathogen(s), such as Bartonella, in tissue and bone throughout the body. This gives the appearance of an autoimmune disease. The majority of the children we observed were seen and misdiagnosed by typically 15 or more doctors.  It appears that when the cause of illness could not be quickly found, due perhaps to the limited knowledge of the attending, these patients were improperly diagnosed with "Conversion Disorder".

Most of these misdiagnosed patients were eventually properly diagnosed and treated only because of the persistence of parents and loved ones, many for Vector-borne pathogens. We observed through interviews and direct contact that the vast majority of doctors are unfamiliar with tests such as Cytokine Panels and PET scans necessary for diagnosing conditions such as Acute Disseminated Encephalomyelitis (ADEM), which we observed in a significant number of subjects. We observed that delays in proper diagnosis and treatment compromise myelin-producing cells, such as Oligodendrocytes surrounded by inflamed glial cells, and caused symptoms found in myelin degenerative disorders.

2) Inflammation caused by the vaccine adjuvant may fail to self-limit, especially if the body fails to clear the aluminum adjuvant in a timely manner.  This overlooked variable may strongly be indicated by such things as abnormal transferrin and / or low ferritin (low iron levels), which may or may not aid the absorption of aluminum. However, we did observe that people in this study group almost always tested low for ferritin (iron).

3) We hypothesize that once inflammation fails to limit or becomes self-sustaining, the demand for raw materials to feed the production of inflammatory cytokines by the immune system, may contribute to unleashing dormant pathogens by tearing apart biofilms and persistor cells, and allowing pathogens to escape and become virulent.

We also found numerous genetic mutations, and must now state that powerful vaccine adjuvants such as Amorphous Aluminum Hydroxyphosphate Sulfate (AAHS), may be life-threatening and/or result in cognitive and motor skill disorders in those individuals with (multiple) genetic mutations which negatively affect or result in:

1) Failure to transport or remove Aluminum Adjuvants and certain metals from the host in a timely manner (such as Low or Mutated transferrin.)

2) Elevated pathogen Load (such as HLA-DR15)

3) Reduced Glutathione or glutathione enzyme activity (such as the GSTM1 polymorphism)

4) Reduced Transsulfuration (such as CBS 699t -- NOTE: These subjects typically suffer excruciating "head pressure" due to sulfur-related compounds, including sulfites, which may pass through the blood brain barrier, and may be the cause of "head banging" in infants and todlers.)

Although other mutations may contribute to the cascade of debilitating events, such as C282Y, which is associated with Hemochromatosis, plus other genes associated with Methylation, the above four genetic conditions formed the core problems in this study.

Syncope / Fainting

We observed that Syncope (fainting), following the Gardasil HPV vaccine, may be the result of an acute allergic reaction -or- a well documented and published non-immunologic reaction to Polyoxyethylene-sorbitan-20-monooleate, which is also known as Polysorbate 80 and Tween 80, which was identified by Coors et al, Ann Allergy Asthma Immunol. 2005 Dec;95(6):593-9, as DIRECTLY being capable of causing severe non-immunologic anaphylactoid reactions. Polysorbate 80 can cause a reaction that is NOT due to an "allergy" but appears to be some kind of chemical reaction. It is well known in emergency pediatric care that when cytokines are released pathologically, Nitric Oxide Synthase (NOS) is produced which induces numerous cells to increase production of Nitric Oxide (NO). NO serves to dilate blood vessels and lower blood pressure. Histamine may also be simultaneously released by eosinophils in response to a severe allergic reaction to components in or relating to the vaccination. We hypothesize that one or more of these reactions that acutely dilate blood vessels may be the cause of these children and adults suddenly losing consciousness after the Gardasil HPV Vaccination. 

Dr. L. C. is a member of our study group. She received the Gardasil HPV vaccine in 2006 while attending medical school.  She returned to class after receiving the HPV vaccine, and lost consciousness. Her vitals were taken, and it was documented that her blood pressure had plummeted to a life-threatening 50/32.  We hypothesize this "fainting" was due to an acute allergy-related response to the yeast and/or other component(s) in the vaccine, which resulted in a massive histamine release from eosinophils and mast cells. This elevated histamine would have quickly dilated blood vessels, and would account for the extreme drop in blood pressure. Eosinophils are capable of releasing 80% of their stored histamine in a matter of minutes. We suspect that these children and adults may not have been properly screened for an allergic reaction as warned in the vaccine package insert, especially an allergy to mold and other members of the Fungal Kingdom. Fortunately for Dr. L. C., she did not drive home after her vaccination and die in a car crash. Warnings were not issued by the FDA until three years later (2009). 

Note: Fewer than 10% of the subjects we interviewed who were severely affected by the vaccine "fainted" after receipt of the vaccine. None of the three families we interviewed whose children died reported that their child fainted immediately following their vaccination.

The UNPREDICTABILITY of Aluminum Adjuvant Clearance from the Human Body

Why ALL Humans Do Not Suffer Vaccine Injuries and acquire Autism

Noted Geneticist Dr Sin Hang Lee found  HPV16-L1 protein fragments from the Gardasil HPV vaccine tightly bound to their Aluminum substrate (adjuvant) in two different autopsy tissue samples from two different deceased teenage girls. One of the deceased teenagers had received her last Gardasil vaccine injection six months prior to her death. The proprietary HPV16-L1 Protein vaccine fragments were still present in her spleen, causing inflammation and continuing to produce antibodies, which were found nearby. The HPV16-L1 protein fragments were found tightly bound to their aluminum substrates.

Modern Science teaches that aluminum adjuvants separate from vaccine components within about 24 hours of injection. Aluminum has an atomic size of 0.051 nm, with an electrical charge of  +3, and may possibly compete with iron (0.064 nm, +3), magnesium (0.066 nm, +2) or calcium (0.099, +2). About 95% of aluminum binds to transferrin and albumin intravascularly, and is then excreted renally. Transferrin is low when iron is high in the body. Many subjects in our study group tested LOW for transferrin. Some in this group tested positive for Hemochromatosis, with a confirmed positive for an associated C282Y genetic mutation.

We hypothesize that low iron or an iron deficiency or an iron excess may all be an extremely important indication of a possible inability to clear aluminum (adjuvants) from the body of a vaccine recipient, resulting in a possible hyper-activation of the immune system, accompanied by possible failure to properly self-limit inflammation. Simply taking iron supplements before the Gardasil vaccination may result in an inability to properly clear the aluminum vaccine adjuvant because the iron may (partially) saturate transferrin, and not allow it to attract aluminum.

We further hypothesize that numerous genetic polymorphisms or alleles of transferrin such as the common G277S, which results in anemia in a significant number of white women, may be of unsuitable atomic weight or electrical characteristics to efficiently attract and transport various aluminum compounds in all humans (Br J Haematol. 2001 Nov;115(2):329-33). Inefficient liver/kidney removal activity may then play a further role in the retention of aluminum adjuvants.  The more vaccines administered, the greater the risk of death from failure of methylation and transsulfuration.

The amount of iron, aluminum, or similar substance taken in that day from antiperspirants, food, or perhaps part of an existing body burden, may act to saturate available transferrin, resulting in inhibited transport and excretion of aluminum, allowing the aluminum from a vaccine to be deposited in tissue, resulting in (possible) symptoms of an iatrogenic autoimmune disease. Additionally, the inflammation resulting from an allergic or other reaction to Gardasil or other concomitant vaccines may be sufficient to induce sequestration of iron and aluminum within cells of the reticuloendothelial system. The spleen is the largest organ in the reticuloendothelial system (a.k.a. mononuclear phagocyte system), and this is the exact place where Dr Sin Hang Lee found mutated HPV16-L1 Protein fragments in autopsy tissue from two deceased teens, long after their HPV vaccinations.

Theobald et al, Agents Actions. 1987 Feb;20(1-2):10-6, identified transferrin (TF) as a blocking factor (BF) for histamine in mast cells, but did not reference histamine that may be released by eosinophils in response to an allergic reaction (such as to components in the Gardasil vaccine).  If transferrin is low, the blocking action of histamine is inhibited in a dose-dependant manner (PMID2437773), and this appears to be what we observed, which may partly account for the cascade of debilitating GI events found in these subjects with low transferrin, ranging initially from Histamine Intolerance, Irritable Bowel, and ending up with Gastroparesis. We observe high eosinophil levels in many subjects, long after vaccination. 

Low transferrin, saturated transferrin, or mutated transferrin appears to play a crucial role in the onset of both aluminum adjuvant retention and the manifestation of other conditions, such as Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS).  We hypothesize that transferrin levels, transferrin mutations, and other transferrin anomalies such as molecular weight, play a critical role in regulating histamine release from mast cells in the gut, and thus may be responsible for the severity of such disorders as Irritable Bowel, Celiac, and more.

The inclusion of L-Histidine in the Gardasil HPV vaccine appears to suggest that MERCK Pharmaceuticals is including a pre-cursor to histamine to insure, through decarboxylation, that inflammation and perhaps a localized dilation of blood vessels will ensue upon conversion of L-Histidine to histamine. Unfortunately, the resulting inflammation may provide new host cells (incubators) for an existing or dormant pathogen to invade and multiply.

Based on observation and medical diagnosis of subjects in this well documented study, we find DIRECT parallels with the Autism Community.  While we acknowledge that all cases of Autism are not Iatrogenic, we must disclose that the numerous cascades of metabolic failures due to vaccine adjuvants enhanced by pathogens present in the body, were the root cause of disabling and life-threatening events in people who had already inherited or acquired genetically compromised cycles (methylation, transsulfuration, etc.). We openly state our findings that vaccine adjuvants, especially Amorphous Aluminum Hydroxyphosphate Sulfate (AAHS) may be extremely dangerous and/or life threaten when administered to children and adults with inhibited or mutated transferrin, albumin, or other disruptor which may prolong the retention of inflammation-causing vaccine components, which may result in a myriad of disorders, ranging from inflamed glial cells that may inhibit neighboring Oligodendrocytes from properly producing myelin needed for nerves, which may eventually result in ADEM, Multiple Sclerosis, inhibited cognitive and motor skills, and eventually, death.

It is important to note that while vaccine manufacturers claim that vaccines are safe because they have far less aluminum than the food we eat, ONLY 0.3% of the aluminum contaminants in foods are ever absorbed in the GI Tract, while 100% of the aluminum in a vaccine is put directly into the circulatory system. The body has no known use for aluminum.

Based on our studies with older children and adults, we hypothesize that Infants, especially preemies, with low levels of transferrin or ferritin, are more susceptible to vaccine-induced Autism, because the aluminum vaccine adjuvants do not have sufficient or a sufficiently active form of transferrin and / or ferritin to bind to. Additionally, we question why the host actually stored the HPV16-L1 aluminum protein fragments in autopsied spleen tissue the case of the two deceased teenage girls investigated by Geneticist Dr. Sin Hang Lee.  Huang et al, 1992 and Cannata et al, 1993, found an inverse relationship between ferritin (iron) and aluminum storage in the human body, and virtually all subjects, except those with Hemochromatosis, had low ferritin. Another observation by CANNATI  revealed that the presence, or lack thereof, of iron may influence the absorption and uptake of aluminum by the gut, and we did observe aluminum-containing products such as Tums, and even aluminum based antiperspirants, had a profoundly negative effect on many subjects. We observed that aluminum vaccine compounds were not removed from the body in a timely manner, and appeared free to translocate and damage sensitive neurological centers in the brain. Inflammation appeared to be poorly controlled, and appeared to contribute to cognitive and motor-skill disorders.

We question if the failure of the body to properly and timely clear aluminum adjuvants might be a prime factor in Macrophagic Myofasciitis (MMF).

Enhancement (Hyperactivity) of Immune Activity Due to Infection

In virtually all cases, we observed what appeared to be enhanced adjuvant activity, much of which could be traced back to a Lipopolysaccharide-producing pathogen, such as Salmonella. In the case of brother and sister high school students who both suffered severe reactions to the Gardasil HPV vaccines, unlike the majority, neither child had low NK-CD57 counts. What was unique is that both had became ill after dining at a restaurant, prior to receiving the Gardasil HPV vaccine.  Not only does Salmonella enterica contain immune-enhancing Lipopolysaccharides characteristic of Gram-negative bacteria, it also contains well studied FliC flagillin from the Salmonella enterica, which can modulate an immune response through TLR5 (Hayashi et al., 2001) (Balut et al., 2005) (Nempont et al., 2008). We hypothesize that Salmonella enterica may have played a key role in enhancing the Gardasil HPV vaccine adjuvant activity in these siblings, who both went on to develop seizures 3 months later.

In the majority of other cases, Borrelia burgdorferi or similar Lyme-related co-infection was ultimately diagnosed or suspected. Borrelia burgdorferi, according to various literature, may appear in the L-form as a spirochete or cyst, and both forms exhibit an adjuvant-enhancing Lipopolysaccharide-like substance (lipoprotein) on its outer surface (Schroder et al., 2008) (Thakran et al., 2008) (Yang et al., 2008). Other commonly observed Vector-borne pathogens found in these children and young adults, such as Bartonella, also express immune-enhancing Lipopolysaccharide (Calin et al., 2007; doi: 10.1128/IAI.00237-07), and appear to greatly contribute to the the enhanced and prolonged immune response/disruption.

JAMA reports that the CDC estimates 300,000 cases of Lyme annually (JAMA. 2013;310(11):1110. doi:10.1001/jama.2013.278331). Considering that Lyme (Borrelia burgdorferi) rarely appears without multiple co-infections, and these and other Vector-borne infections, such as Bartonella, Babesia, West Nile, Protozoa Rheumatica, etc., may all appear individually and without the presence of Borrelia, this is opening a potential Pandora's Box of alum vaccine adjuvant unpredictability in the human population.  All of the above named pathogens, and many more, have been diagnosed in this study group.

 Acute Hypotension

Hypotension (and Hypertension) is being reported in a large number in this group. One 14 yr old girl was taken to the hospital after losing conscientiousness at a California ice cream parlor with friends. Vitals and a blood draw were performed at a local hospital, Her blood pressure was documented as 31 systolic over 29 diastolic.  Her pulse rate was 21. Her blood oxygen saturation was 50%.

Acute Hypertension

Hypertension (and Hypotension) are also being reported in a large number in this group, sometimes alternately. A parent of a 12 year old Texas girl attending Henderson Junior High reported that her daughter's blood pressure was recorded at 164 / 130 by the school nurse. Blood pressure deviation(s) should be considered an integral part of this syndrome.

Increased Inflammation and Acute Vitamin D Deficiency ( 25 Hydroxy Vitamin D )

We observed that virtually all who were tested had very low 25 Hydroxy Vitamin D. We observed inflammatory markers such as CRP, IL-1b, TNF-y, etc., which diminished to normal within months in most children, but when the Interleukins were stimulated by LPS, we observed unacceptable counts of approximately 1/4th below acceptable lower gate.

 Aphasia

The majority of people in this group showed varying degrees of difficulty with reading comprehension and recalling common words or names of common objects during conversation.

Muscle Spasms

We have observed what appears to be significant intracellular magnesium depletion so as to result in muscle spasms and heart arrhythmias.

Failure of Immune System and Failure of Body to Repair itself

We acknowledge the award winning work of Stanford Research Biologist Robert Sapolsky regarding stress in primates, and observed that the children and adults in this study appear to be experiencing various degrees of stress so as to inhibit their body's ability to properly fight disease or repair itself. We further hypothesize that vaccine-induced stress may be directly related to Failure To Thrive  in a significant number and may also play a prime role by which autism takes root in infants and toddlers due to inhibiting the immune system and human repair mechanisms, especially during critical developmental stages.

 Sensitivity to MOLD, FUNGUS, and YEAST

A 20 yr old young lady with a known GRANULOCYTE MACROPHAGE COLONY-STIMULATING FACTOR (GM-CSF) depletion suffered a cascade of debilitating symptoms when exposed to mold on a couch in a college dorm room.  This does not imply that she was the only one; it simply means that she was one of a few whose GM-CSF was tested and was found to be deficient. Epstein Barr Virus and Resulting Viral Interleukin-10 as a Risk Factor

We observed that a history of Mononucleosis (Glandular Fever) was virtually a 100% predictor for a life-threatening adverse vaccine reaction, not only to those in our HPV vaccine study group, but to members of other groups we are currently investigating, including those on the Autism Spectrum, and those with Chronic Lyme Disease. We attribute part of this to the ability of the Epstein Barr Virus to produce Viral Interleukin-10 (vIL-10). Viral Interleukin-10 is the product of the Epstein Barr Virus (EBV) replication gene, BCRF1 (Hirokazu et al.).  BCRF1 closely shares functional and structural similarities with Human Interleukin-10. Both viral and human Interleukin-10 inhibit T-Cell growth and interferon-y production. A person who has or recently had EBV may have higher than normal amounts of total Interleukin-10, which may then favor the progression of pathogens and disease.

We found doctors to be generally unreceptive to requests by parents and caregivers of these young children and adults when asked to perform specific tests. We found it was frequently necessary for these ill patients to sometimes travel long distances to find doctors who would even listen to their symptoms and requests. In the case of one 24 yr old Asian girl who had been ill for six years following her Gardasil HPV vaccination, we suggested that she be tested for EBV, based on her symptoms.  When local doctors could not perform the tests we requested through the parent, she was finally properly diagnosed with Chronic Active Epstein Barr Virus (CAEBV) by a doctor in another city. She had fevers and menses approximately two weeks apart for years. Because no doctor had caught this, her mental abilities had declined to the extent that she had to be carefully watched so that she did not hurt herself or her parents, and properly disposed of her waste without playing with it.

Although the CDC released a statement acknowledging 300,000 cases of Lyme each year, we found that 100% of pediatricians who administered the HPV vaccine to these patients and had followed up appared to be unaware of the symptoms of such common infections as Lyme-related infections such as Bartonella (cat scratch fever) and were unable to detect or diagnose Lyme disease. Children such as BrittF, with symptoms consistent with Bartonella and Lyme, were left untreated. We noted that the MAJORITY of people in this study were typically diagnosed at some point with "Conversion Disorder," but were later properly diagnosed, due solely to the persistence of their parents or caregivers.

Allergy to Red Meat

There is a high probability that a serious and potentially life-threatening newly discovered allergy may exist among the children and adults in this study, due to the high percentage who are ultimately diagnosed with Lyme Disease or some of the co-infections normally spread by biting insects and related vectors. It has recently been documented that the bite of a tick or chigger can result in a serious or potentially deadly allergic reaction when red meat is ingested. The allergic reaction has been traced to Galactose-alpha-1,3-galactose, or Alpha-Gal, a type of sugar found in red meat. Red meat includes beef, bison, goat, pork, venison, and other mammals, but not poultry. Unlike peanut allergy symptoms, which occur immediately, allergies to Alpha-gal typically occur hours after eating red meat, and may include, but are not limited to: asthma, anaphylaxis, weakness, nausea, itching, hives, rashes, diarrhea, vomiting, irritable bowel, and much more. . . http://alpha-gal.org/basics/

Similarity of Symptoms between HPV Vaccine Reactions and Autism

We observed that 90% of people in this group had a genetic mutation that inhibited the production of Cystathionine Bete-Synthase in the first step of transsulfuration. We further observed that even though the symptoms were similar, they could vary greatly in intensity.  When a symptom was completely missing, such as the 10% of subjects who did not experience severe or sustained head pressure, we suspect that they did not have a particular gene mutation, This head pain was so excruciating in the majority of these children and adults that they became very irritable and forgetful. We hypothesize that the same acute head pressure experienced by these individuals may also be experienced by infants and toddlers, and this severe pain may be the reason they bang their head.

Gibson et al, Neurochem Int. 2002 May;40(6):493-504.,  discovered that Oxidative Stress was associated with neurodegeneration of cells in the brain and the appearance of a Thiamine deficiency.  We found signs of a Thiamine deficiency in many of these children and adults.

We also noted similarities in vaccine-induced sensitization of immune cells in the lining of the gut and the resulting GI-Tract inflammation, followed by a Histamine Intolerance, and much more.

We hypothesize that inflammation triggered by vaccine adjuvants, and occurring in glial and similar (macrophage) cells may affect surrounding Oligodendrocyte cells, and inhibit the production of the myelin sheath around nerves, resulting in ADEM.

This, plus the Oxidative Stress initiated by vaccine adjuvants, together with genetic mutations that may allow increased pathogens such as Human Leukocyte Antigen (HLA), and specifically the HLA-DR15 allele, together with any current infectious agents already present in the body (such as Mycoplasma, Bartonella, Borrellia burgdorferi, etc.), together with any other contributor which tends to promote or modulate inflammatory cytokines (eczema, acne, etc.), together with any contributor which tends to inhibit or modulate the anti-inflammatory properties of Interleukin-10, may result in Autism in infants and toddlers, and debilitating pathologies in older children and adults. We observed that some primary precepts of immunization are being dangerously overlooked by pediatricians, especially the fact that the presence of an infection during the administration of a vaccine will greatly enhance the immune response (Ramon et al: Bull. Soc. Centr. Med. Vet 1925; 101: 227–34.) -and- (Ann. Inst. Pasteur 1926; 40: 1–1).

We further noted that timely intervention and identification of systemic inflammation was critical. For example, pains in the stomach might soon be followed by IBS, and if the contributing causes, such as a histamine intolerance, were not treated, this might then advance to Gastroparesis. One of the key problems in withholding treatment is the resulting Oxidative Stress, which greatly contributes to a further cascade of debilitating symptoms, especially with its potential to block Thiamine routes.

 Chronic/Dominant TH2 - Chronic Production of Antibodies

We hypothesize that a combination of vaccine ingredients, which 1) must be accompanied by the host's compromised ability to limit inflammation due to such thing as an ongoing infection, including eczema, 2) together with the TH2 Causing Polysorbate 80, 3) plus the failure of the host to clear the aluminum based vaccine in a timely manner, resulted in the immune system being forced into a Chronic TH2 Mode. This could help explain the new and increased sensitivities to food and the environment, while increasing Oxidative Stress and inhibiting the body's ability to use Thiamine and possibly other nutrients.

Enlarged Cisterna Chyli

The Cisterna Chyli was found to be enlarged in one girl by an alert radiologist. The size of the Cisterna Chyli was then on used as a gauge for her medical progress. This appears to be valid reasoning because of the involvement of the lymphatic system and elevated lymphs.

Head Pressure (acute)

a). Quick-Onset Head Pressure: Polysorbate 80 - Opening the Pathway to the Brain

We observed that the majority of people in this study group developed severe head pressure, many within the first few hours of receiving the (Gardasil) HPV vaccine.  Only 3 out of about 100 report feeling severe "head pressure in less than an hour after their vaccination, which they described as someone putting their head in a vice and squeezing it. Most reported a pain level of 9 to 10 on a 1 to 10 scale, 10 being the worst.   Those who received concomitant vaccines appeared to have a quicker onset of head pressure and new medical conditions, many after just one HPV vaccination.

We hypothesize that this quick-onset head pressure may be due to factors affecting the integrity of the blood brain barrier, especially the Polysorbate-80 Tween contained within the vaccine, together with both the inflammatory properties of the antigen bound to the aluminum adjuvant, possibly together with the inability of the host to bind to and excrete the aluminum (compromised ability to bind to and transport aluminum, such as compromised transferrin) or sulfur (sulfate) found in the adjuvant, which may be inhibited in part by a genetic mutation negatively affecting Cystathionine Beta-Synthase in the first step of transsulfuration.

According to a Power Point Presentation by Norman W. Baylor, PhD, Director Office of Vaccines Research and Review Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research, Food and Drug Administration, which is available from the FDA website (click here), the aluminum vaccine adjuvant is supposed to be released slowly from the injection site, but many members in our study reported their doctor told them to massage the injection site to decrease pain. In addition, we observed the quick-onset of new medical conditions, especially the commonly described excruciating "head pressure," and question/hypothesize whether or not the Polysorbate Surfactant has / is transforming the Gardasil vaccine components in "Bullet Proteins" which may help to quickly disperse the vaccine, and allow the vaccine to be transported through the blood brain barrier.

b). Chronic Head Pressure

We have observed that Chronic (sustained) head pressure is due to a gene mutation that affects Cystathionine Beta-Synthase (CBS gene) in the first step of transsulfuration. We further confirmed that people with a CBS 699t gene mutation are most seriously affected.  Using the BLAST genetic search tool, we discovered and confirmed that human cell MITOCHONDRIA had similarities to the HPV16-L1 Protein. We hypothesize that a combination of ingredients in the vaccine, especially the Polysorbate 80, together with the failure of the body to properly bind and clear aluminum, or favor aluminum uptake when iron is low (such as found in the majority of people in this study, may act synergistically in (some people) to inhibit mitochondria function, and pervasively inhibit all methylation and other metabolic cycles of the body, which may account for why we observed the proliferation of pathogens in these subjects, especially those with the HLA-DR-15 mutation (AllisonF), who were exposed to the Fungal Kingdom. 

Hypermobility as a Risk Factor

Hypermobility, a symptom of Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome - Type 3, was observed in the majority of our study group.  It should be further noted that follow-up questioning of some of the families who originally reported that their daughter did not have obvious signs of Hypermobility, now stated that siblings of the vaccine-affected child did show signs of Ehlers-Danlos in the form of Hypermobility. Physical Activity as a Risk Factor for an Adverse Vaccine Reaction

We observed that children who appeared to be VERY healthy prior to receiving the Gardasil HPV vaccine and were the most physically active following the vaccination (heavily used leg muscles and participated in sports, cheerleading, dancing, biking, skating, or other physical activity), suffered the most sever debilitating symptoms, including gait disturbances and an inability to walk, was possibly due to the increased distribution of the vaccine throughout their body due to increased circulation resulting from exercise and a more efficient cardiovascular system. These girls also complained more of chest pain, centered around the heart. Doctors and Hospitals almost universally refused to investigate or follow up on these patient complaints, but instead administered pregnancy and drug tests, before dismissing these patients with a typical diagnosis of "Conversion Disorder".

MichaelF was a 15 yr old male who died a matter of weeks following his Gardasil HPV Vaccination. He died about 15 minutes into an ice-hockey game, and question whether an anaphylactic reaction caused by Polysorbate 80 may have played a role (Coors et al, 2005). We observed that children and adults who appeared to be very healthy may actually have harbored the Human Leukocyte Antigen (HLA) genetic mutation, and the immune system may not have aggressively responded to viruses and other pathogens.  This may have given a false sense of good health, and may actually have allowed the host to harbor high(er) levels of Epstein Barr Virus and other pathogens. A family history of EBV or Mononucleosis/Glandular Fever (full blown EBV) has been virtually a 100% predictor of a severe or life-threatening adverse vaccine reaction in this group. People of Irish descent or similar Northern European ancestry (Scotch, English, Swedes, Danes, etc.) have proven to be the most severely affected.

Transferrin and albumin normally bind to and clear the inflammatory vaccine particles and adjuvant within the vasculature in a timely manner, but when they don't, these particles can settle in tissue or bone, and that may be your reason for reading this Abstract - to find out what went wrong, and how to recover your patient.

According to Kahla et al, 2012, (doi: 10.1590/S1517-83822012000200039. Epub 2012 Jun 1), injecting the Gardasil HPV vaccine into these children and adults, along with the HPV virus-contaminated fragments admitted to by the the manufacturer, MERCK & Co., will increase the risk of (cervical) cancer in the vaccine recipient by 500% in the presence of an Epstein Barr Virus infection.  Kahla et al found that an EBV infection acts as a co-factor for the induction of cervical cancer by favoring integration of HPV DNA.  We observed similar results in a significant number in our study group.

SLEEP and FATIGUE following Vaccination - The First WARNING SIGN of things to come

We observed that some of the first warning signs of impending cascades of debilitating or life-threatening events following the Gardasil HPV Vaccination were excessive sleep and fatigue. In the majority of pre-pubescent subjects, the fatigue remained, but the typical 12 to 16 hours of sleep per day turned into insomnia, with only 2 to 4 hours of continuous sleep per day, usually between 2 and 6 am.  A significant numbers of parents noted a momentary sleep-like state that lasted only a matter of seconds, in which the subject's alert state appeared suspended, and may happen in the middle of a conversation.  The subject would momentarily stop talking with eyes fully open, then resume speaking after several seconds, with no apparent awareness of the gap in their conversation.

Low Vitamin D 

Vitamin D levels appear to plummet (25 Hydroxy Vitamin D) in this group following the administration of the Gardasil HPV vaccination.  Several had been tested months prior to the administration of the HPV vaccine, and lab tests for serum Vitamin D were reported to be within gate. Typical 25 Hydroxy Vitamin D post Gardasil averaged around 20, with some dipping to 12.

Low Intracellular Magnesium

Intracellular magnesium quickly becomes depleted following administration of the Gardasil HPV vaccine. However, serum magnesium typically remained on the low side of lab normal.

Association of Epstein Barr Virus (EBV) and Vitamin E

We observed that many who were tested showed positive for Recent EBV.  We suggested the use of Vitamin E to inhibit EBV in cases of Oxidative Stress, based on the Chen's scientific work Chen et al, 2003 Aug;113(2):228-33, We observed that Vitamin E and the other supplements produced positive results, with fewer and less debilitating flares of symptoms.

Magnesium and the "Fight or Flight" Response in this Group

Our findings indicate that the immune system may not be capable of distinguishing between fear and the inflammation caused by aluminum adjuvants and other ingredients in modern vaccines. Both fear *and* inflammation were observed to trigger the "Fight of Flight" response, which forced the subject to excrete magnesium. 

The human body uses magnesium in the production of about 300 different enzymes. When intracellular (within the cell) magnesium becomes depleted, it is virtually always missed by doctors who look at serum (blood) magnesium. Every cell in the body will contribute its last bit of magnesium to keep the heart pumping. We observed multiple symptoms of a magnesium deficiency: muscle jerks and spasms; pain; irritability; newly acquired panic disorders; heart arrhythmias; headache; and more. One mother described her daughter as the "she bitch from hell" after receiving the Gardasil HPV Vaccine.

Since many cycles fail (methylation, H3K4 Trimethylation, etc.), we observed that it was necessary to administer some vitamins in their active form to maintain proper serum levels. This was especially true of Vitamins B6 and B12.

Similarity to Septic Shock

In the majority of subjects with severe adverse reactions, we observed that the body appeared to pull blood from extremities.

Symptoms of Vitamin B1 Deficiency (Beriberi): Thiamine Tetrahydrofurfuryl Disulfide

Although many of the subjects received Vitamin B1 supplements, we observed many symptoms of a Vitamin B1 (Thiamine) Deficiency. Thiamine is involved in a variety of glucose metabolism-related and neurological functions, including the making of myelin. Many symptoms of the B1 Deficiency decreased when Thiamine tetrahydrofurfuryl disulfide (TTFD) was administered. Allithiamine is one alternative name for TTFD, a fat-soluble form of Vitamin B1.

We acknowledge the observed genetic deficit(s) in the Transsulfuration Cycle due to the CBS gene, and confirm the findings of, DETH R et al, Thomson, and others who documented that oxidative stress plays a critical role in the utilization of Thiamine in the human body.

Hypertelorism (Wide Spaced Eyes)

Mild to moderate HYPERTELORISM (wide-spaced eyes) was observed in virtually all females in this group.

Occurrence of Autism in families with children adversely affected by Gardasil

We observed a correlation among parents of children harmed by the Gardasil vaccine. The siblings of these parents were more likely to have multiple children on the Autistic Spectrum.  We also found that older children in these families, who were not on the autistic spectrum, were less likely to be influenced by environmental factors such as vaccines, such as twin sisters who received Gardasil, where the one with autism suffered an adverse reaction, and the twin without autism did not.

Lymphatic System Impairment

We observed symptoms of impaired Lymphatic drainage, which included, but was not limited to swelling and various skin irregularities, plus elevated body burden, which often included heavy metals. We believe this is primarily the result of lowered or discontinued exercise in these formerly active people, in addition to the lowered blood pressure that was typically observed in these children and adults.

Sisterna Chyli Enlarged

The Sisterna Chyli was found to be enlarged by an alert radiologist. Because this was noted in the medical records of only one young female, and only a minority had imaging tests that would reveal this detail, it is possible that this anomaly of this lymphatic organ may have occurred (at various times) in other subjects. In the case of one young lady, the size of her Sisterna Chyli was inversely proportional to her feeling of well being.

Nosebleeds

Nosebleeds were observed in about half the subjects, post Gardasil. Ferritin (iron), was typically low.

Genetics and Pathogens

The Human Leukocyte Antigen (HLA) Serotype was present in most who were tested. The HLA-DR15 mutation was found in those most seriously affected. Those with HLA-DR15 appeared acutely sensitive to mold, and exposure would cause a re-emergence of debilitating symptoms.

Genetics and Transsulfuration

Many tested positive for the CBS Gene, and were not able to properly process sulfur. The Cystathionine Beta-Synthase gene, especially the CBS 699t genetic mutation, appeared to be causing a life-threatening cascade of events in these patients, and we observed the following sulfur-related symptoms:

• Low Glutathione - Sulfur is required for Glutathione synthesis. ALL subjects who were tested had low glutathione activity levels, which is also a significant factor for why we believe that glutathione activity is a key reason why males are at a higher risk of Autism, and females have significantly higher Glutathione activity (Lii et al. 1996, Arch Toxicol. 1996;70(12):822-9).  During the Oxidative Stress we observed in this group, proper Glutathione activity might have lessened or eliminated the cascade of debilitating events observed, due to the detoxify and protective role offered by Glutathione. (Gérard-Monnier  et al, 1996, Pathol Biol (Paris). 1996 Jan;44(1):77-85)  
  
  We observed that many appeared to become more disabled with bed rest. Most of these children and adults were in middle school, high school, or college, and reported that they had been very physically active prior to receiving Gardasil. The majority reported being involved with sports or endurance exercise such as swimming, cross country, or dance, cheerleading, biking skating, etc. A small number of these individuals were prescribed glutathione in various forms by their doctor.  Some showed a slight improvement, but many more initially suffered what appeared to be a Herxheimer Reaction when initially ingesting glutathione. We point to the work of Chad R. Frazier et al, 2013, whose peer reviewed and published works concluded that:
  
  "Adaptive cardioprotective signalling is triggered by reactive oxygen species from NADPH oxidase, and leads to improved glutathione replenishment through redox-dependent modifications in GR." which implies that a body without exercise produces less glutathione than one that is active. http://cardiovascres.oxfordjournals.org/content/98/1/47.full

• Connective Tissue Disorders - Sulfur is responsible for Collagen Synthesis, and lack of sulfur leads to poor tissue (skin) structure and strength.

• Inflammation - low sulfur can lead to the progression of inflammation and degenerative disorders

Note: Medical Practitioners should be aware that an infant or toddler who screams for prolonged periods, or any child who bangs their head, may actually be signaling that they are experiencing a breakdown in the TRANSSULFURATION Pathway (CBS Gene). When sulfur is not properly metabolized, EXCRUCIATING HEAD PRESSURE may result when sulfites enter the brain and produce acute pain. You should always be on guard that a migraine may be a warning sign of a CBS Gene mutation, especially CBS 699t.

We hypothesize that sulfur-related sustained inflammation, especially involving inflamed glial cells in the brain,  may affect nearby Oligodendrocytes, which may then inhibit myelin production, and result in demyelinating disorders, such as Multiple Sclerosis.

Ovarian Cysts and Cancer in this  Group of HPV Vaccinated Females

We observed that a significant number of females in this group presented with abdominal pain, and many were diagnosed with one or more cysts.  We noted the findings of Sanjib Bhattacharyya et al, 2013 (DOI: 10.1371/journal.pone.0079167) regarding the association of Cystathionine Beta Synthase and Ovarian Cancer, and noted that a significant number of females who were diagnosed with a CBS Gene Mutation, or presented with symptoms consistent with a Cystathionine Beta Synthase gene mutation also  reported various cancers after receiving the Gardasil HPV vaccine, which is advertised as a vaccine to prevent cancer. 

Drug Resistance

We noted that a significant number were resistant to various drugs, and that many in this group had genetic mutations affecting both the Cytochrome P450 pathway and the CBS Gene (Sanjib Bhattacharyya et al, 2013), both of which are capable of affecting drug utilization.

Histamine Intolerance and Sustained Inflammation

We observed that the majority of subjects developed a Histamine Intolerance, which we believe was a direct result of the Aluminum adjuvant in the Gardasil vaccine. The purpose of the aluminum adjuvant is to increase the activity of presenting cells.  We believe that that aluminum adjuvant directly affected and enhanced the activity of presenting cells in the gut, and resulted in new and / or enhanced allergies to food proteins passing through the GI Tract, which then contributed to self-sustaining gut inflammation.  As Mast Cells produced more and more histamine, the subjects acquired a new medical condition known as Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS).  This is a condition in which mast cells produce elevated histamine, which causes blood vessels to dilate in this study group, and resulted in various degrees of light-headedness, disorientation, and increased heart rate, and possible syncope (fainting) upon standing.

There was no reported cases of Histamine Intolerance in any member of this group prior to the administration of the Gardasil HPV vaccine, nor was there any prior indication or family history of Mastocytosis.  We also took note of the extensive research done by Husheng Li et al., at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, into how aluminum vaccine adjuvants activate caspase-1 and induce an IL-1beta and an IL-18 release, causing inflammation.  We hypothesize that the release of IL-1beta and Interleukin-18 (and possibly other pro-inflammatory cytokines), may have inflamed the gut and caused a breakdown of the mucosal lining. This may have allowed immune cells in the lining of the gut to come into direct contact with food proteins as they traveled through the inflamed gut. The enhanced action of presenting cells and immune cells appear to have made antibodies to some of these food proteins, and when these foods were again eaten at a later date, the hyper-activated presenting cells of the immune system appeared to treat these food proteins as allergens, and trigger mast cells to produce histamine. 

Histamine (elevated) and Blood Vessel Dilation

We observed that the majority of these children and adults felt lightheaded upon standing.  We hypothesize that the elevated histamine, caused by this newly acquired histamine intolerance, dilated blood vessels, and significantly lowered blood pressure to the brain.  We further hypothesize that this may be the cause, or a contributing factor to Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS). We observed that this newly formed histamine intolerance and resulting self-sustaining inflammation did not noticeably subside until foods containing moderate to high amounts of histamine were removed from the diet. We observed that Low Dose Naltrexone appeared to reduce/ eliminate gastrointestinal pain and other negative effects of this condition. Low Dose Naltrexone did not totally eliminate head pain, which we believe is due to an inhibition of the transsulfuration pathway, which allows sulfites to enter the brain.

Acute Disseminated Encephalomyelitis (ADEM)

We observed a significant number of cases of Acute Disseminated Encephalomyelitis, but the true number may never be known due to the unwillingness of competent doctors to order PET Scans, and the ability of patients to pay for these tests which may not be covered by insurance. ADEM can occur in the brain when tissue surrounding myelin-producing cells becomes inflamed, and prevent Oligodendrocytes from doing their job of producing the insulating myelin sheath surrounding nerves.

Ankylosing Spondylitis

Ankylosing Spondylitis was diagnosed in a small but significant number (about 5%) of this study group. The HLA-B27 gene has been associated with Ankylosing Spondylitis, and those that were tested for this gene were positive for this genetic mutation. We hypothesize that the actual number may have been much greater, but when these children and adults are improperly diagnosed with Conversion Disorder, any attempt by parents or caregivers to seek further medical attention appears to have been thwarted.
